Micromax will launch its new in-series smartphones in India today. Inbymicromax website has revealed in a big leak that the Indian smartphone brand will launch two phones named Micromax In Note 1 and Micromax In 1B.
Micromax is banking on a tug of nationalism to drum up its advertising campaign as it gets ready for launch. But will that be enough to get the consumer? We spoke to analysts who said the anti-Chinese sentiment is a short run game. Micromax will have to offer value and quality to the consumer in order to survive long term is what analysts agree upon. According to IDC's Navkendar Singh, "For the consumer, it is about value, he sees the value and Chinese players have been giving the value. They (Micromax) have to match them (Chinese) in terms of product portfolio, in the specification versus price equation, in terms of investment, in marketing, retail marketing, online player distribution. If they’re not able to do that, they will just fizzle out."

Micromax IN 1b series: Price
The Micromax IN 1b starts at Rs 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage version. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version will cost Rs 7,999. Micromax IN 1b goes on sale from November 24 on Flipkart and Micromax’s official website.

The Micromax IN 1b is the budget-friendly option. it has an HD+ display which is 6.5-inches in size with a mini drop design. It comes with an AI Dual camera, which consists of a 13MP primary camera+ 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front camera with varied beauty modes.
The Micromax IN 1b is powered by the MediaTek G35 processor and runs Stock Android. It will come in two RAM and storage options: 2GB + 32GB and 4GB RAM and 64GB. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging and this one also has a Type-C USB port at the bottom. It has a metallic finish at the back of the device. The phone will come in three colors, purple, green and blue.
